Softball Diaries - Playoffs

 

I just want to start off by saying Alfa Males are an American Team and we in America believe in giving a opportunity to the underdog and we cheer for the underdog! enough joking. 

 

It was playoff game, in playoff it doest matter where you belong in the standing. Alfa Males had to play 6 PM game, those are always the harder games for us because all the boys come straight from work and traffic. We are not as sync as a team. Well few errors here and few errors there we got behind by a lot of points! The gap kept getting bigger and bigger so in the end the time ran out on us calling the end of times for Alfa Males! Cardiac Arrest is a good team with good sportsmanship!

 

We(Alfa Males) had a very fun season overall, we grew as a team... I know some of the audience are gona be glad and many are going to miss me and my charm! I believe it is always good to leave the league on a high and good note when you are doing good as a team, having fun and entertaining the audience!

Softball Diaries - Game 10

 

started from the bottom and now we are here!!

 

Lamborghini Mercy! Top of the 5th inning Alfa Males were leading by 15 points according to the league rules its automatic WIN through mercy rule! We started the game off with a home run and finished with 6-4-3 double play! Alfa Males back on the top and finishing the season strong with good momentum to go into the playoffs to win the championship!

Softball Diaries - Game 9

well well well... the roller coaster goes up up up up up... then it has to go down down down down as describe by G. The blue (umpire) was not in our favor, kept making bad call against us and calling us out for no reason because he was blind sided.. We lost by one point it was a pretty close and fun game! well we are still second in the standings! Alfa Males will show no mercy to Rudy's in the playoffs!

Softball Diaries - Game 8

 

 

Well you all know that we are the best and the hottest team in the league! Still #1 and winning with 10+ points... Game 8 was just another outstanding performance by Alfa Males to win against Blazing Buds.

 

On top of the 4th inning 2 outs, I came up to bat with 2nd and 3rd base loaded, I had my eye out for right fielder who was standing bit closer than usual. First pitch was a strike which got me a bit nervous! second bitch was ball so 2-2, third pitch I waited till the ball came to me and pulled a power shot to right fielder. It was a high ball.. went over his head and kept rolling.. but the fielder puts his hands up saying the ball went on the street and by this time I am already at 3rd base running like a race horse towards home plate. The umpire calls it a double because the ball rolled out into the street.

 

I just have a feeling that the fielder kicked the ball out knowing I am heading home. Ahhh only if we had a camera and instant replay on my softball team lol! Well I might be skinny but I still got power!

Softball Diaries - Game 7

enuff said!

 

Alpha males another outstanding victory 24-10 against Nitty Gritty. We kept scoring and they couldn't stop the Alfa's! No mercy! We rallied every inning scoring at least 4 runs. This was no competition felt like a walk in the park win!

 

4th win in a row!! we are the hottest team in our league :)

 

and then...

Softball Diaries - Game 6

 

 

 

Started from the bottom and now we are here! Like the dodgers are on a hot winning streak and best in their division. We are the hottest team in the Major League Softball right now. With 4 more wins to finish the season strong.

 

Game 6 we play Cardiac Arrest, and if we win we get the number 1 spot and obviously we did!!

 

But the game itself was very intense! we were visiting again and we started bad again! with score 0-3 in first inning. In the second inning we scored 4 runs. Then Cardiac Arrest came back to tie the game in the bottom of the second to 4-4.

 

Alfa Males went down on the roller coster ride for 3rd, 4th and 5th inning scoring zero where as CA scored 5 more making the score 4-9 Alfa Males. In top of the 6th Alfa Males ralllied again to score 4 runs and we put up a 643 double play defence allowing zero runs.

 

Top of the 7th, last and final inning and Alfa Males need 1 run to tie the game and stay alive. We sure put on another show rallied up and scored  3 more runs making the score 11-9 Alfa Males. Now bottom of the 7th we got our Alfa defence to stop all possible run and win the game 11-9 to claim No. 1 spot in the division.

Softball Diaries - Game 5

I was on vacation for game 3 and 4 and yet my team pull 2 wins with out the MVP Zuki... So game 5 we played against the best team in the league Rudy's Runaways Tue. Rudy's are very mature team they have been playing for past 4 or 5 seasons together. However, Alfa Males we are young and restless team with lot of new talent.

 

We were visitors, we had to bat first and we didn't do so well in the first inning three inning we scored zero (0) runs yet we had awesome defence we allowed Rudy's to score only 4 run total. On top of the 4th we rallied around the bases and scored 7 runs.. we were starting to get cocky so they came back and scored 3 to tie the game.

 

Top of the 5th the score is 7-7, we scored again we scored a run and we did good defence and didn't Rudy's score another run keep the score going into top of the six at 8-7 Alfa Male. The time was running out (because we get only 1hr or 7 innings) so they let us play one more inning before calling it a game. Alfa Males scored another run on top of the 6th making the score 9-7. Alfa Males Now had to put a great defence to get the 3 outs and we win the game for #1 spot!

 

But Rudy's came back with vengeance and gave their best performance to tie the game.  It was very close game yet fun one! The game ended in a 9-9 tie, so now our record is 3W-1L-1T

 

I have a feeling we will be meeting Rudys again in the championship match up but this time to win the title!

Softball Diaries - Week 2

Well Week-2 we played a very good defensive team "Nitty Gritty"! The game was neck to neck... We went into top of the seventh (last inning) game tied at 10-10 we couldn't score runs. The pressure was on Alfa Males, we need to stop them from scoring in the bottom of the 7th. The first batter got out with a pop fly. The second batter hits towards me and I lose track of the ball in the sun and I let him get to second base!!! Now even more pressure ON with winning run on second base. Next batter hits deep into left field and it was gone! and Alfa Male fall short! After the game, I gathered my team members and let them know it was my fault and they backed me up saying its all ours fault! Now that's the attitude that wins championships!

 

I have a slow start this season @ 7-3, but I have the most RBI on the team! It's only going to get better!

Softball Diaries - week 1

 

O yeah ALFA MALES we are back for summer league and we are looking to dominate this season! Started our season last tuesday June 4th. We won our first game 12-5, couple of changes to the line up and we have a new dynamic.

 

 

This season is going to be a good one we look mature and having fun and joking around during the game... I play tuesday nights so come cheer for me!
