Softball Diaries - Game 6

 

 

 

Started from the bottom and now we are here! Like the dodgers are on a hot winning streak and best in their division. We are the hottest team in the Major League Softball right now. With 4 more wins to finish the season strong.

 

Game 6 we play Cardiac Arrest, and if we win we get the number 1 spot and obviously we did!!

 

But the game itself was very intense! we were visiting again and we started bad again! with score 0-3 in first inning. In the second inning we scored 4 runs. Then Cardiac Arrest came back to tie the game in the bottom of the second to 4-4.

 

Alfa Males went down on the roller coster ride for 3rd, 4th and 5th inning scoring zero where as CA scored 5 more making the score 4-9 Alfa Males. In top of the 6th Alfa Males ralllied again to score 4 runs and we put up a 643 double play defence allowing zero runs.

 

Top of the 7th, last and final inning and Alfa Males need 1 run to tie the game and stay alive. We sure put on another show rallied up and scored  3 more runs making the score 11-9 Alfa Males. Now bottom of the 7th we got our Alfa defence to stop all possible run and win the game 11-9 to claim No. 1 spot in the division.

Softball Dairies - Spring 2013

Well I been playing softball for past 5 season. It started of with co-ed softball league at work. I was manager and I have to listen to everyone complaints about everything. While managing my co-ed league I also got recruited to play for upper division men's league. Finally, I ditched the coed and started my own Men's league.

 

This season our team name was Alfa Males. However, the season was not so good start for me... a week before the season started I dislocated my shoulder. I couldn't play for first 4 weeks. We got mercy on our first 4 games. When I got back on game 5 we lost again but played the entire game. We had a lots of close games but coulda shoulda woulda ain't giving us a W.

 

I am usually the lead off hitter cos I am know to get on base and my speed.

Yup we own a game not bad for first season on mens league

 



 

March 26th - Base hit right down the middle for a single.

 

April 30th - Pulled the ball to right field for a double.

 

This was a slow start for me but I am feeling 80-90% and next season you are going to get the MLSoftball The Show

 

The season finally ended.. it was overall a lot of fun.. made bunch of new friends. We had a losing record but we are only going to get better!

 

Most teams we play are family and friends. If you have a big family or lot of cousin its best to join a softball league so you meet up, play, have fun, and then get dinner after the game.

 

New summer season starts May 28th 2013.. I guarantee that the stats are going to reflect Alpha Standing!
