Well you all know that we are the best and the hottest team in the league! Still #1 and winning with 10+ points... Game 8 was just another outstanding performance by Alfa Males to win against Blazing Buds.
On top of the 4th inning 2 outs, I came up to bat with 2nd and 3rd base loaded, I had my eye out for right fielder who was standing bit closer than usual. First pitch was a strike which got me a bit nervous! second bitch was ball so 2-2, third pitch I waited till the ball came to me and pulled a power shot to right fielder. It was a high ball.. went over his head and kept rolling.. but the fielder puts his hands up saying the ball went on the street and by this time I am already at 3rd base running like a race horse towards home plate. The umpire calls it a double because the ball rolled out into the street.
I just have a feeling that the fielder kicked the ball out knowing I am heading home. Ahhh only if we had a camera and instant replay on my softball team lol! Well I might be skinny but I still got power!
