A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.    'House' for instance, is feminine: 'la Casa.' 'Pencil,' however, is masculine: 'el lapiz.' A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?'    Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether computer' should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.   The men's group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the feminine gender ('la computadora'), because: 1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic; 2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else; 3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval; and 4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.  (THIS GETS BETTER!)

 

The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine ('el computador'), because:
1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;
2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;
3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem; and

American Horror Story - Coven - Eps 1

The series is set in the 1830s, Delphine LaLaurie (Kathy Bates) struggles to maintain her place in society, while secretly holding her slaves as prisoners in the attic. She uses their blood to look young as an old technique. She finds out that one of her daughter has sex with one of the slaves and punishes the slave by beating him then she puts head of a dead bull on the slaves face and kills him. (theme song begins)

In present day, Taissa Farmiga (Zoe, Cutee!!) takes a boy back to her parents house and engages in passionate act of making love for the first time... not knowing she figures out that can cause the boy to go into brain hemerage and kills the boy right way. later she finds out that she is a witch and is taken to a private school. The private school is operated by  Cordelia Foxx (Sarah Paulson) to teach young witches how to survive in the modern world and control their powers. 

Cordelia's mother, Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange), Best introduction ever visits a scientist who is testing a drug which is in clinical trial on animals to help cope with aging. Cordelia wants to look and live young and upon the scientist refusal to provide her the meds she sucks the life out of him! (brutal, reminded me of mortal combat)

Zoe makes a friend in her private school which comprises of only 3 witches. one of them is Madison, who takes Zoe to a frat party. Zoe meets Kyle (Evan Peters) what seem like love at first sight they both make their small talk and flirt with each other.

At the frat party Madison gets gang-raped by a group of frat boys. Madison gets very emotional and flips their departing party bus, which also contains the innocent Kyle. Next morning the find out there are two survivors and Zoe hoping Kyle is one of the two survivors, Zoe visits the hospital only to find his friend who led the raping. She kills Kyle's frat brother in the same way she accidentally killed her boyfriend before.

Fiona learns Madame La Laurie is still alive, although buried, frees her from her grave, and takes her back to the school to hide her. (episode one ends)I Just love Fiona's acting so for she is just phenomenal!!

Black Mountain Trip

The beautiful black mountain national forest is a great place for recreation. Located in the beautiful San Bernardino national forest. There is my first time visiting a climbing and hiking spot which I have been hyped about for years now from good friends Mike & Hilary!

 

Here is the black mountain view from Subway sandwich's this was out pit stop for breakfast before we head up to the mountain. Saracha sauce is my favorite now :)

 

Up we go and smaller the things starts to get down below.

 

 

This is Watch Tower of Black Mountain, there are several located in every national forest. The purpose of the watch tower is to keep a lookout for fire caused by lightning.

 

Now the tower is pretty damn high which also means damn good views! The views from the tower are below. (I may have forgotten which way is north, south and west, however on a clear day you can see Catalina island, Orange county is in one of the views, please help point out if possible)

  

 

 

Los Angeles is hidden by some mountains in the way.

 

 

The sexy ladies (Barbara and Diana) of the watch tower.  Both Diana and Barbara volunteer there time here at the watch tower and protect the forest from catching fire.

 

 

They use this very unique device to locate the fire called Osborne. Fire Finder. Basically, you point in the direction of fire and you mark the location on the map. Simple and fun with great views who would not want to volunteer their time, its like they have a penthouse for themselves. (To learn about how to volunteer please contact San Bernardino National Forest. Fire Lookout Host program is open 9am to 5pm memorial day to first snow)

Here is Mike best climber I have ever known.

 

I was tricked into climbing this steep boulder! you cant see but boulder is more than 55° angle and I was walking up like spider man! Down climb was pretty scary :) well props to me I completed and made it down fine :)

 

Mike has been trying to climb and finish this for past 3 years and will he get to the top?

Love this picture on one side you have darkness and other side you got light, just like all of us. Though much of the outer forest was burned during the recent fire caused by mother nature, yet there is ton of greenery for your eyes. Hence, watch tower is a very responsible job to stop the fire from escalading.

 

Beautiful forest ton of picnic area and pine cones to bring home : Enjoy and stay safe.

Dexter Season Finale

 

Well the season 8 started great pace with complication of Dr Vogel (Psychiatrist and creator of Dexter dark passenger and Harry's code) and His sister Debra becoming a train wreck after killing Lugverta. Dexter is playing with two worlds trying to save Debra because he thinks it is his fault that Debra wreck, depressed and trying to kill herself. Simultaneously, Americas favorite serial killer is also juggling his god mother Dr. Vogel (who knows Dexter's dirty work behind the scene) by protecting her from a serial killer called the "Brain Surgeon" on the lose! Dexter is more stress than usual.

 

The mid season Dexter takes care of suspect who he thought was the brain surgeon and improves the relationship with Debra through therapy with Dr Vogel. However, another complication is added, Dexter find himself indulge into a more godfather role by helping out a kid name Zach who is drawn to blood just like he was when he started out. Dexter starts to train Zach who is anxious to learn the tricks and take of the trash of the society.

 

Side Lines: Vince, gets a visitor and it turns way back he was a donor and donated sperm to sperm bank and now he is a father! Vince has always made me laugh by his work as a comedian in the show. Vince playing Dad is too funny!



 

Joey, as always being stupid and dumb. He still has feelings for Debra, so we all know what is going to happen. He is going to dump his girlfriend and get back with train wreck Debra. I think they are meant to be together.

 

Harrison has become way too naughty lil boy! He is giving babysitter and Dexter a very hard time!

 

 

Debra starts working as a bounty hunter, being dramatic and cursing as usual. I think she is going to get back with Quinn (Joe) and work at Maimi Metro.

 

Zach: New addition, drawn to blood from a young age just like Dexter. He makes Dexter feel like spiritual dad. Zach is anxious and ready to learn and kill.

 

Hannah: Hanna (HOTT) is back in the mix, she looks gorgeous and yet super dangerous. She makes her introduction with small dose of poison to knockout Dexter and Debra. Hannah is still on Debra's hit list. But she is in love with Dexter and so the love triangle is back.

In addition to existing problems they also brought Hanna McKay back into Dexter's life. Now Dexter is playing with 4 different roles. Dexter is still in love with Hanna, who is being abused by some rich guy. Dexter helps Hanna take care of him to start a new life together by running away to  Argentina. However Debra puts a bounty hunter on Hanna so she can be caught and forever be put behind bars.

 

During this process Dexter finds out who the real "Brain Surgeon" killer is and it is none less than Dr. Vogel son Daniel, who use to date Dexter's neighbor.

Dexter who is always a step ahead of everyone is falling a step short juggling family, Vogel, Brain Surgeon, Hanna, Bounty Hunter, and Zach. I don't think I have the will power to see Dexter go down this path of self destruction. I want a perfect happy ending for Dexter, so Dexter should just fly the country when He had the chance. O well, its the end of time for even our favorite serial killer so I guess this is going to be a bitter goodbye! 2 more episodes to go!

Season 3- Coven

 

I been huge fan of this series. They have good drama/story line, directions, cinematography, dialogues, horror, thriller, and suspense once you see a episode that's it you are hooked!

omg so creepy - this season I am def gona lose my sleep

 

Coven - means, an assembly or band of usually 13 witches - dictionary.com

and electric bill going up!

 

I can only imagine what will happen this season, I am scared and excited!! I love the trip hop theme scary but mysterious. Cant wait for Fall to begin! Just from the preview I give it 5 stars.

season 1 - American Horror Story

There are two seasons out so far and season 1 has been my favorite season. Takes place in Hollywood mansion which is haunted and people who die in that house visit the residents of the house on a daily note. They appear real to people living in the house, however they are ghost. I love the direction of season 1 and the way they try to connect the dots to make the story sync!

Season 2 - Asylum

Season 2: takes place in a asylum. This was a love story that takes place in an asylum. This season has very good drama and a lot of blood, if you are a blood horror fan and love aliens you are going to have a blast. This season is about a possessed soul that jumps from person to person and controlling them. you also get a mix of aliens abduction.

Softball Diaries - Playoffs

 

I just want to start off by saying Alfa Males are an American Team and we in America believe in giving a opportunity to the underdog and we cheer for the underdog! enough joking. 

 

It was playoff game, in playoff it doest matter where you belong in the standing. Alfa Males had to play 6 PM game, those are always the harder games for us because all the boys come straight from work and traffic. We are not as sync as a team. Well few errors here and few errors there we got behind by a lot of points! The gap kept getting bigger and bigger so in the end the time ran out on us calling the end of times for Alfa Males! Cardiac Arrest is a good team with good sportsmanship!

 

We(Alfa Males) had a very fun season overall, we grew as a team... I know some of the audience are gona be glad and many are going to miss me and my charm! I believe it is always good to leave the league on a high and good note when you are doing good as a team, having fun and entertaining the audience!

Breaking Bad - Season 6 - Episode 2

Another outstanding episode... there is non stop drama and tension no drags just the way the audience like. Okay here is the recap:

This episode starts off with Jesse being more than generous and donating his money like news paper. A lower class resident finds the money trail and finds Jesse laying down of the marry go round in playground! Walt on the other end gets done with Hank and on his way home he tries to call Skyler but she is already on the other line with Hank. Hank meets up with Skyler at a diner and ask's her to confess against Walt but she refuses and makes a big scene to doge the confession.

Walt on the other end meets up with Saul and knowing that Hank is on to him, he moves his money from the public storage into plastic oil drums and drives to the dessert to bury his money. Walt takes a GPS with him and notes the coordinates  Dirty and sweaty Walt returns home and sleeps it off! Next morning Skyler tells Walt about the meet up with Hank, and thinks Hank has nothing but theories and we remain quite. Linda, doesn't like the current product because the quality isn't any good so she uses Todd to shoot the current cook and his crew! The ending was much crazy, Hank enters the DEA office to interrogate Jesse for tossing the money! 

The season is at full swing just cant wait to find out if Jesse will give something in his depressed state of mind.

Cancun - Chichen Itza

Sinkhole!!

Cancun, was so much fun and relaxing vacation for a week. Visited Chichen Itza one of the new wonders of the world! Learned the story of the Mayan's who were pretty smart people. They had the rotations off the moon sun earth and other planets and stars figured out. So they knew exact time when a solar ecillips will occur and they used that to scare and rule the people by calling themself God! You can take a private tour of Chichen Itza which starts at 4pm after the gates are closed, in this private tour you are allowed to climb the stairs but it was fun just being out there and enjoying. Chichen Itza is very big and still being discovered. To see it all you will have to become archaeologist.. 

I planned the trip through viator.com they are my go to site for out of country travel. They pick you up and drop you off to your hotel the bus does not have wify but it is air conditioned.My advise take an extra pair of cloths iff you are traveling in summer it gets really hot you might want to change up. One last thing, make sure to take your passport with you to get it stamped at the UNESCO center next to the entrance.
